ST31P450 dual-interface security microcontroller newly launched by ST31P450 adopts the latest 40nm flash memory technology and enhanced RF technology, bringing excellent connection robustness and read-write performance for contactless smart CARDS such as bank CARDS, id CARDS, traffic CARDS and pay TV.
ST31P450 is based on the market tested 32-bit Arm?SecurCore?SC000?Secure processor, ISO 7816 and ISO 14443 class A and contactless smart card standards, MIFARE?Full software library including MIFAREClassic?, MIFAREPlus? And MIFAREDESFire?cars onlyStmicroelectronics' 40nm flash memory technology can make chips very small and is suitable for dual-interface applications such as bank CARDS. Enhanced security can improve transaction security and anti-counterfeiting functions.
Upgraded RF capabilities make wireless connections extremely reliable and fast for contactless transactions. In addition, ST31P450's new low power encryption engine minimizes the energy budget and performs encryption operations while ensuring excellent read and write performance when rf field strength is weak.ST31P450 is also equipped with optimized loading firmware, making it easier for card issuers to maintain their CARDS after issuing them.
The ST31P450 security microcontroller and its associated encryption libraries are expected to receive Common Criteria EAL5 +, EMVCo and CUP (China unionpay) security certifications in the coming months.
The 450KB non-volatile memory (NVM) and 10KB RAM version of ST31P450 are now in production.
