The most popular bas16/21 diode and bc807/817 transistor for aec-q101 high temperature applications.

Nexperia, an expert in discrete devices, logic devices and MOSFET devices, recently announced that its key components in the SOT23 package of high performance, universal transistor and switch diode series are now fully determined to work at temperatures up to 175℃.The product range includes the most popular high speed switching diodes in the industry, bas16/21 and bc807/817 universal transistors.

Ptot (total power consumption) of SOT23 device at 175℃ is 25% higher than that of the basic rated component at 150℃.This allows customers to achieve high temperature designs for applications under the hood, including gearboxes and motor drives, as well as LED lighting and other industrial USES.These devices also meet the aec-q 101 standard and have high reliability of vehicle grade.

Mark Roeloffzen, vice President and general manager of Nexperia's discrete devices business group, commented: "Nexperia pioneered the use of SOT23 in its 175℃ small signal diode and transistor portfolio, further broadening the range of high temperature circuits available to designers. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the SOT23 package invented by Nexperia (owned by philips). We continue to innovate and lead the market, shipping more than 30 billion devices a year, and continue to work on the important SOT23 business."

With these latest versions, Nexperia is further refining its 175℃ diode and transistor portfolio, which now covers all performance levels up to 15A.The 175℃ package includes angular free DFN package, pin SMD package, clipbond FlatPower (CFP) package and LFPAK package.
