Samsung has put on hold its plans to build additional  capacity for 1ynm DRAM chips at its Hwaseong and Pyeongtaek fabs, says Digitimes. Samsung had planned to start building a 30k wpm expansion in Q3

Hynix has also delayed plans for adding NAND and DRAM capacity.

NAND went into oversupply in Q3 and ASPs are expected to fall 10-15% in Q3 and another 15% in Q4 with prices continuing to fall throughout H1 2019.

DRAM contract prices are showing signs of softening.
